My least favorite medium is watercolor because you have to layer it about four times before it actually looks like a bright color and when you paint over it, it shows through. So you mix paint you didn't want to. Acrylic paint is my favorite medium because it pops so much and you can blend the colors more easily. Also when you mess up you just have to paint over your mistake.

1. It was kind of hard to mix the colors because I couldn't make the color I wanted but once I got started it became easier.2.To make brown you use red, blue, yellow, and some white if needed then you add the color you feel will give you the shade or tone you want. If you don't like the color you have made just keep adding different colors until you find the color you are looking for. 3. I chose to paint a picture that I took on a cruise to the Bahamas of the sunset over the ocean. I chose to paint this picture because I thought it was really pretty and has a lot of texture.
The sphere warmup was the most helpful because it taught me to use color pastels, how to draw a sphere and how to make shadows of an object. Composition is the way in which a whole or mixture is made up.
Value is the importance, worth, or usefulness of something. A pro to using charcoal is that if you mess up all you have to do is smudge it and it looks as if you never did anything. A con to using it is that it's very messy. A pro to using pencil is that it is light and if you mess u you can go over it in something darker and if you don't like it you just erase it. A con to pencil is having stray marks that won't completely erase. A pro to using pen is that it is very dark and shows up really well but the con to that is if you mess up you kind of stuck or have to restart.
